
Position Summary
Provide support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle, including account qualification, identification of account specific business drivers and technical solutions, presentation and demonstration of solutions, defining and driving the financial benefit opportunity and proposal writing (RFI and RFP) and review.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
·Assist the sales team in achievement of defined sales goals.
·Conduct detailed business analysis leading to development of 1) strategic solution offering and, 2) financial cost benefit offering.
·As a member sales team, contribute to: account strategy, product/solution positioning, sales planning, solution definition, product/business value, ROI analysis, and quota achievement.
·Participate in the planning and definition of the solution for an opportunity as well as driving and understanding the business and technical requirements.
·Manage prospective customer’s expectations regarding product capabilities and services provided.
·Provide market led information to Product Management for continual product improvement.
·Ensure solution consistency from sales efforts to partner-based service solutions.
·Create and deliver customer, market, technology, and industry specific product demonstrations.
·Coordinate and provide input for responding to RFP’s and other proposals to clients.
·Manage and support Proof of Concept projects and prototypes within the solution sales cycle.
·Gather and understand information on competitive technologies and solutions to effectively assist in the solution sales cycle.
·Assist sales account executives with technical issues.
Required Education, Experience and Abilities
·Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical field.
·5+ years experience in enterprise software sales, financial services or insurance industry, a plus.
·At least 5 years’ experience as business analyst or system analyst.
·Must have proven track record as effective planner and be able to manage multiple projects..
·Experience in executing detailed business analysis leading to a financial cost benefit analysis and strategic solution architecture.
·Possesses an analytical, problem solving orientation; logically identifies and analyzes problems.
·Experience with large-scale, enterprise-wide systems, preferably in the insurance industry.
·Must demonstrate broad understanding of principles of financial management and economic factors that drive budgeting and funding.
·Understands linkages between Clear’s mission and specific, individual contribution of presales consultant.
·Experience in the full sales lifecycle.
·Possess drive and initiative to work independently or as a team member.
·Able to take responsibility for assigned work and to follow through to produce results as committed to.
·Able to understand and utilize technology-based tools and processes.
·Must have keen understanding of targeted markets and technology used.
