Senior Account Executive

Position Summary

Leading Colorado-based provider of comprehensive business management software and solutions is expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive as an addition to staff.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of sales strategies between Clear Technology and prospective customers of target industries. The Senior Account Executive has accountability for achievement of slaes targets for defined territory and/or markets.

Specific responsibilities will include generating prospects to ensure steady growth of sales opportunities, working with Pre-Sales and Professional Services staff, assist in organization, resourcing and on-time delivery of sales proposals, plan and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations, establish and implement sales strategies for each phase of sales cycle fo each customer, and effectively amange overall account strategy.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
·Implement appropriate programs & account strategies to support sales in target territories and/or markets.
·Generate prospects to ensure steady growth of sales opportunities.
·Working with Pre-Sales and Professional Services staff, assist in organization, resourcing and on-time delivery of sales proposal.
·Plan and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations.
·Schedule resources as needed.
·Establish and implement sales strategies for each phase of sales cycle for each customer.
·Achieve targets as represented in annual Clear Technology Sales Commission Plan.
·Prepare monthly sales forecast on a 12-month rolling basis, as well as quarterly re-forecasts/adjustments to annual Clear Technology Sales Commission Plan.
·Manage costs within approved budgets.
·Effectively manage overall account strategy.

Required Education, Experience and Abilities
·Business or IT degree
·5+ years of a successful track record closing large, complex software/IT solutions sales at the “C” level into financial services, telecomm, insurance and/or state & federal government verticals.
·J2EE (experienced user)
·Experience working with strategic sales methodology (i.e., TAS).
·Keen understanding of BPM and BPO markets.
·Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
·Able to adopt a consultative sales approach.

·Able to achieve sales quota with little or no day-to-day supervision.
·Willing to travel 75%+.
