Clear Technology and IBM Work Together to Reduce Payor Costs
WESTMINSTER, Colo - January 10, 2005 - Clear Technology Inc., an IBM Business Partner, today announced that it will work with IBM Business Consulting Services to incorporate Clear's Tranzax® Role Replication™ platform as part of the IBM Virtual Worker Solution™, to dramatically reduce payors' administration costs.
IBM and Clear are working together to market, develop, and deliver customized solutions to help generate client savings and ROI. Using industrial engineering and IBM Global Services methodology, the delivery team creates "virtual workers" by identifying, capturing and moving up to 85% of human work to software in myriad areas. These areas include suspended claims resolution, call center operations, enrollment, recovery/subrogation, and policy underwriting. IBM's creation of virtual workers is one of the most effective alternatives today for automating complex context-based human activities and decision behaviors, designed to provide faster, more accurate handling of payor administrative operations.
